Ryan Mitchell

Ryan Mitchell was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. He attended Jesuit High School where he played football and baseball. During his time at Jesuit, Mr. Mitchell enjoyed giving back to the community by volunteering and participating in various community service projects. During his sophomore year, Mr. Mitchell also began his legal career as an intern with what was then known as The Law Office of Ken Ward. 

Upon graduating from Jesuit in 2008, Mr. Mitchell attended the University of Central Florida. Inspired by his first legal internship and desire to help others, Mr. Mitchell majored in Legal Studies and minored in Criminal Justice. During his time at Central Florida, Mr. Mitchell continued his involvement in the community by joining the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, and by starting an afterschool program at a local elementary school.

After four years at Central Florida, Mr. Mitchell graduated summa cum laude and decided to attend the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While at Florida, Mr. Mitchell had the privilege to intern with The Honorable Rex M. Barbas of the 13th Judicial Circuit and The Honorable James D. Whittemore of the Middle District of Florida. These internships provided him with an unparalleled opportunity to gain experience in the legal profession while witnessing the inner workings of the courthouse on both the State and Federal level.

Upon graduating from the University of Florida, Mr. Mitchell returned to Tampa to begin his legal career. Today, Ryan Mitchell is a proud partner of Ward-Mitchell. Although the firm is no longer called The Law Office of Ken Ward and Mr. Mitchell is no longer a high school intern, his dedication and passion for helping others remains steadfast.
